Amanda Marie

I'd have to say that she's my closest friend. We were talking tonight at work and she told me her husband got instantly jealous of me cuz I walked her to her truck. They've been married for 12 years and she gets irritated at him when he drills her about her friends. They also have four kids together. I told her that I found it strange that her husband, after 12 years of marriage, would be jealous of me.

I once told Amanda that she was a hot MILF. She didn't know what that meant. I burst out laughing. I told her to ask Peter, who was the charge nurse at the time. She did. He did the same as me. Another nurse finally told Amanda what it meant; she called me a "tard". I guess that's her name for me. Or when I make her laugh too hard, my hot RN friend will tell me, "Don't you have work to do?"

After work, I escorted Amanda to her truck. The charge nurse on shift appoints me that task cuz we recently had an off-going nurse harassed and stalked by her ex husband. I wouldn't want to lose that closeness with her, even if she's only my friend. The charge also appoints me that task since I mostly work nights and the other techs are usually unfit physically to deal with any 'altercations' off hospital grounds.

Maybe its just that I'm assertive and confrontational and I don't want anything to happen to my friends and coworkers.
